The main character is understandable; he doesn’t want him or his child to be killed by the ML. His profession in the past life is believable too making medication. The King’s wife (husband?) is understandable too. Anyone would be jealous and mad if their husband prefers the consort over them and fear their status, considering that the king killed the consort in the previous life over nothing. The ML is the problem. The ML is trash. He drugs and assaults the main character and changes his personality too fast. The main character does not like him obviously. I fear the country. I wish the MC and husband would hook up and kick the king to the curb.
